Dear Readers… (A Letter)

Dear reader,

Am I the only one who feels like summer is full of both endings and beginnings? Every year around this time the old habits that we fell into during the summer have to be replaced by new routines and obligations. Praise the Lord that there is beauty in the change. I always find myself thinking about new seasons of life, and the same is true for this blog.

That to say, it seemed like a good time to make the official announcement that I will now spread out my posting schedule to the first Thursday of every month instead of posting each week. For a long time I hated the idea of doing this, but after giving it a lot of thought I know that not only is it best for me personally, it will also ensure that the posts I write will be of the high quality I want them to be.

I love writing bookish posts for fellow lovers of stories, and I look forward to continuing that. I want to prioritize good, thoughtful posts over the next year that honor God and bring delight to those reading them.

So although I plan on cutting back on my posting, that does not mean my love for stories has diminished, or even that my blogging stage of life is coming to an end. It simply means that I’m taking the first step to a new season. This may only be a new schedule, but it’s also the beginning of something bigger. I can’t wait to share more with you as I go.

I hope you’ll continue to stick around for the future! I have some very exciting things happening over the next year that I am thrilled to share.
